Workin' Man

Brief family update, The Jake got a new job which he is loving and excited to pour himself in to. He is working as an asset manager of a large portfolio. This does in fact require him to travel and be in Phoenix 2-4 days of the week, however, we are way proud of him and excited for his new employment adventure. Yay Jake!

Song De Jour

So if you haven't checked out Jake's blog SONG DE JOUR yet, I would take a few minutes right now and go visit. In my completely biased opinion, he is such a clever writer. And if you all remember, it was through Jake's writing that he ultimately wooed and won over my heart.

Jake headed off with his Dad and brothers/brothers-in-law to the BCS game today. Wish he looked like he was excited to be there :)

Just Call Him Serta

Sam LOVES cuddling with his Dad and spent most of the day sleeping on his Dad's chest. What can I say, Jake has the touch. And honestly, are those cheeks just the best? When he went in for his 2 month well-baby checkup, he was in the 75th percentile for height and weight and came in at just under 14 pounds! (I think about 9 of those are in those cheeks :)

Congrats

Without much hype...I just want to say Congrats to my fabulous husband. He has worked his little tail off and crossed the finish line with school. Done and Done. I'm proud of you babe!
